All Hail Mary Shelley

It was a dark and stormy night in October…when my “Frankenstein” fan art ended up in the pages of the Washington Post.

Many consider Mary Shelley as the mother of the science fiction genre, the Queen of Ghost Stories.

In 2017, my extraordinary English professor Dr. Grant Scott invited me to create the poster for the brain-child of the Keats-Shelley Association of America and the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Frankenreads promotes literacy in schools across the globe (and until Mary Shelley gets her own well-deserved holiday, this is the next best thing).
